Member organizations pre-select and interview applicants from a nationwide pool of qualified law students of color. A networking reception for both lawyers and selected students takes place the day before.
The hiring process is highly competitive; therefore, the member organizations will adhere to the same hiring criteria they use when seeking candidates through the on-campus interview process. The hiring criteria may include:

Rising second year (2L) law students. Rising third year (3L) law students in 4-year programs.
Employers are interviewing students for only 2019 Summer Associate positions. Graduates and LLM candidates are NOT eligible.
Students must complete an academic profile by uploading a resume and law school transcript, including Spring 2018 grades via Symplicity. Unofficial law school transcripts are acceptable.
