JOB FAIR INFORMATION & APPLICATION PROCESS
Please be advised, students DO NOT bid on employers for the BLG Job Fair. Employers pre-select students that meet their firm’s hiring criteria from the pool of registered students. Selected students are then given a schedule of interviews ranging from 1 interview to a maximum of 10 interviews before the date of the event. No interviews take place before the job fair. All selected students with schedules will interview on TBD. The hiring process is highly competitive; therefore, member organizations will adhere to the same hiring criteria they use when seeking candidates through the on-campus interview process. The hiring criteria may include:
Law Review, Law Journal, Mock Trial or Moot Court experience
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Ultimately, the member organizations determine the qualifications that best meet their hiring requirements.
Rising second-year (2L) law students, graduating Class of 2023.
Employers are interviewing students for only 2021 Summer Associate Positions. Graduates and LLM candidates are NOT eligible.
Students must complete an academic profile by uploading their resume and law school transcript, including Spring 2020 grades, to the Symplicity application portal. Unofficial copies are acceptable.
