Member organizations pre-select and interview applicants from a nationwide pool of qualified law students of color. A networking reception for both lawyers and selected students takes place the day before.
The hiring process is highly competitive; therefore, the member organizations will adhere to the same hiring criteria they use when seeking candidates through the on-campus interview process. The hiring criteria may include:

Rising second year (2L) law students. Rising third year (3L) law students in 4-year programs.
Employers are interviewing students for only 2018 Summer Associate positions. Graduates and LLM candidates are NOT eligible.
Students must complete an academic profile by uploading a resume and law school transcript, including Spring 2017 grades via Symplicity. Unofficial law school transcripts are acceptable.

The BLG’s Symplicity Job Fair Database will ONLY be open between April 24, 2017 and July 5, 2017. The application for students to apply will be opened for registration during that period. Please note, you will need to create a new Symplicity account to register for the Job Fair even if you had already created one for a prior BLG program.
