Mock Trial Attorneys Needed for BLG Summer Interns!!

The Boston Lawyers Group is actively seeking attorneys to mentor our Summer Interns for their Mock Trial on Thursday, August 2, 2018.

The 2018 Summer Internship Program is currently underway with 10 qualified undergraduate students of color interning at selected BLG member firms. As part of the program, the interns will prepare to take part in a Mock Trial at the end of the summer. In the hopes of administering an accurate illustration of court proceedings and the preparation process, the BLG would like to provide each team of 5 students with an attorney mentor.

This is a great opportunity to volunteer within the community, help students of color interested in law, and find qualified scholars to mentor toward success!

Mock Trial Mentor Responsibilities:

  • Help interns extract relevant case information
  • Provide effective strategies and techniques for critical thinking, court questioning, public speaking, etc
  • Meet with team for 1-2 hours every other week or weekly (if possible)
  • Impart relevant knowledge from personal experiences and cases

Participating attorney mentors are invited to the Mock Trial at Suffolk Law University on August 2nd from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. For more information or to sign up, please contact Kassandra Zambrano.
