The Boston Lawyers Group Annual 2L Job Fair will take place virtually, via Flo Recruit on June 17, 2025. Please read the following details and timeline carefully.
The job fair provides BLG member organizations the opportunity to select and interview for 2026 Summer Associate positions from a nationwide pool of highly qualified JD 2027 students interested in working in Boston, who are either law students of color or law students with a demonstrated commitment to advancing inclusion within their schools, communities, or other settings.
Law students selected for interviews will also be invited to attend the Pre-Job Fair reception to meet the BLG Employers (in-person) at Ropes & Gray on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 6:00 PM -8:00 PM. This is an important event to meet folks from hiring committees, recruiting staff and your interviewers. Due to the short turnaround time between student interview confirmations and the Pre-Job Fair reception, we ask that you save the date for the networking reception, and plan to attend if you receive and accept your interview invitations.
Law Students: Student registration will be open from April 22, 2025 through May 20, 2025.
Eligibility: This event is for rising 2L students attending an accredited law school in the U.S. seeking 2026 Summer Associate positions in Boston. LLM Students are not eligible to apply.
Important Dates:
Tuesday, April 22, 2025 - May 20, 2025 at 12:00 PM EST - Flo Recruit open for students to register and apply for open positions. When registering, please select 2L as your class year, otherwise, you will not see the available jobs. This deadline will not be extended for any reason, so please take note of the 12 PM noon cut off.
Tuesday, May 20, 2025 - Wednesday, June 4, 2025 - Employers will be reviewing applications and making interview invite selections. During this time, you must be aware of two things:
1- If you receive an updated transcript during this time, you must send it to the BLG via email.
2- You must inform BLG if you need to withdraw from the job fair for any reason.
Thursday, June 5, 2025 - Interview invitations will be available via Flo Recruit in the afternoon. Student confirmation must be made via Flo Recruit by Friday, June 6, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. If you miss this deadline, your interview(s) will be cancelled or given to alternates. Please refer to our note about alternates at the bottom of this timeline.
Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM EST. Pre-Job Fair Reception at Ropes & Gray. Once your interviews are confirmed, we will send you the RSVP link to the reception.
Monday, June 16, 2025 - Final Schedules will be available via Flo Recruit.
Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST- BLG Annual Diversity Job Fair via Flo Recruit. These interviews are 20-minute-long screener interviews. Some offices may invite you back for an additional interview.
Alternates: Some students may be invited to interview as an alternate. Please be aware, this does not guarantee you will receive an interview on June 17th. As an alternate, you might receive an outreach to interview with a firm if a slot opens up on their schedule. Ideally, you will receive more than a few days notice, but sometimes, you find out the evening before the job fair if there is an opening that has been presented because another student has withdrawn, and the employer able to meet with someone who they previously identified as a candidate they are interested in meeting with. Alternates are invited and encouraged to attend the Pre-Reception.
