Recruiting Programs
The BLG hosts 3 signature recruiting programs in collaboration with participating employers - the 1L Diversity Clerkship, the 2L Job Fair and the Summer Internship Pipeline Program for Undergrads.
We hope that law students and attorneys of color will take advantage of the various resources the BLG offers. Active participation is instrumental in helping to facilitate robust community building and inclusivity.
2025 1L Diversity Clerkship (JD27)
BLG member organizations offer summer clerkships for first year law students. Selected students who have just completed their 1L year typically spend the summer working with a member law firm.
2025 Summer Internship Program for Undergrads
The BLG Summer Internship Program supports the pipeline of undergraduate college students historically underrepresented in law school by connecting applicants from diverse backgrounds with summer internship opportunities at BLG member law firms and organizations.
Annual 2L Diversity Job Fair
The job fair provides BLG member organizations the opportunity to select and interview for 2026 Summer Associate positions from a nationwide pool of highly qualified JD 2027 law school students of color interested in working in Boston and/or rising 2Ls that can demonstrate a commitment to advancing DEIB in the Boston legal community.
