The Interview Process: What I Wish I’d Known

  • Foley Hoag 155 Seaport Boulevard Boston, MA, 02210 United States (map)

Join the BLG & Foley Hoag for an event designed to provide practical advice and guidance to law students as you move closer to interview season. Wouldn’t it be nice to know what firms are really expecting and how to make the most of your interviews? You will hear from Foley Hoag attorneys and members of the firm’s Hiring Committee. Now on the other side of the table, learn what these veterans of the law firm interview process wish they had known when they were in your shoes, including:

  • What interview questions should you expect and how are firms evaluating your responses?

  • What are they looking for in a writing sample?

  • What are some common missteps they see when interviewing?

Students should be prepared to ask questions. The panel will be followed by an hour networking reception.

Panelists:

Heejin Choi, Senior Manager of Associate Recruiting; Moderator

Ryan M. Rourke Reed, Partner & Chair of Foley's Hiring Committee

Caroline Donovan, Partner & Co-Chair, Litigation Department

Silvia Mavares, Associate

Erika Jacqueline Chavez, Associate
